Minimum requirements target tutorials and small builds; recommended requirements target regular grid building and operation at 1080p.
Larger scenes need a stronger CPU: Power-flow calculations rely mainly on the processor, and every additional device, line, building and connection adds load. For large saves, use a stronger processor and consider 32 GB of memory; graphics quality, resolution, cooling and background programs also affect performance.
Suggested starting settings: on minimum hardware, start at 1280×720 with Low quality; on recommended hardware, start at 1920×1080 with Medium quality, then adjust for smoothness. These are guidelines, not a frame-rate guarantee.
